In harmony with their brand vision, the Oasis Collection draws inspiration from the gentle rhythms of nature. It features candles and incense sticks in two distinct scents: Paloma<\/em><\/strong>, a bright, airy blend of grapefruit and pink pepper; and Drift<\/em><\/strong>, a warm, inviting mix of amber and vanilla. Every ingredient is toxin-free and cruelty-free, underscoring Venture\u2019s commitment to mindful crafting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To bring more artistry to the collection, Venture partnered with Charlotte Smith Studios in Atlanta to create the candle vessels. Each vessel is made from hand-thrown porcelain and designed to be reused. It was Venture\u2019s first time sourcing packaging. All they knew was that they needed rigid boxes for candles, incense sticks, and ceramic incense holders. With limited experience and many uncertainties, they turned to PakFactory for expert guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the ceramic candle vessel is both delicate and heavy, our team designed a cube-shaped telescopic rigid box. The sturdy two-piece structure can handle the weight while safeguarding the porcelain. Unlike a typical full-flush lid, the partial cover lid reveals just enough of the inner compartment. This thoughtful design makes the candle easier to access while delivering a smooth, satisfying unboxing experience.Inside, a custom-fitted EPE foam insert securely holds the candle vessel in place, ensuring it stays perfectly protected throughout transit and handling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the long, delicate incense sticks, we engineered a drawer box precisely tailored to their length. Its rigid structure not only offers impeccable protection but also enhances the presentation with a touch of luxury. A ribbon pull tab ensures the inner tray slides out effortlessly. The handmade ceramic incense holder features an irregular, pebble-like shape. We designed a lid and tray rigid box with a shallow base that fits the holder\u2019s length and height perfectly, preventing excess movement inside. The lid covers snugly over the base tray, creating a secure closure while allowing effortless opening. As a final touch, a subtle embossed line on the lid echoes the shape of the holder, giving customers a visual hint of the nature-inspired piece sitting inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since all the products belong to the same collection, it was essential to ensure each box\u2014though different in structure\u2014shared a unified look and feel that stayed true to Venture\u2019s branding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We began by exploring several white and cream paper options for the box wrap. After a few rounds of sampling, the client settled on an eggshell-colored textured paper that perfectly aligned with their organic, natural brand aesthetic. Once the ideal shade was selected, we went through rigorous quality checks to guarantee the exact same eggshell color appeared consistently across all boxes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond color, each packaging piece features the same thoughtful design elements: Venture\u2019s brand name, the Paloma<\/em> and Drift<\/em> scent names, and clean botanical artwork\u2014all rendered in black for crisp contrast. Although Venture favored a minimalist style, they still wanted certain elements\u2014like the scent names Paloma<\/em> and Drift<\/em> and their botanical artwork\u2014to stand out. Many brands achieve this with metallic foiling in gold or silver to create a high-end look. However, the client felt metallic finishes would be too flashy and out of step with their natural, understated brand aesthetic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking their vision to heart, our team recommended a gloss black foil paired with an embossing effect on the text and graphics. This thoughtful combination allows key details to catch the light and draw the eye, while preserving the subtle, organic feel the client wanted. The result is packaging that feels quietly sophisticated and perfectly aligned with their brand. At first, the client wanted a full-height foam insert for their candle box, stretching from the bottom to the top of the 4-inch-tall package. They pictured the insert to be surrounding the ceramic candle vessels and offering maximum protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, a foam insert of that size would have significantly increased packaging costs. Keeping the client\u2019s budget in mind, our packaging specialist, Michelle, carefully reviewed the design. She then recommended a smarter solution: a much shorter, 1-inch foam insert that snugly supports the base of the candle. This approach still provided excellent protection while avoiding unnecessary material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By making this change, we not only optimized costs but also greatly reduced material usage\u2014perfectly aligning with Venture\u2019s commitment to sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
