How do I get a quote for my project?
You can get a quote by visiting the Request a Quote page, requesting a quote on a product page, phone, email or from our live chat.
Based on a large variance of requirements from project to project, most quotations need to be prepared by a packaging estimator.
RFQs can be emailed directly to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You will typically receive your quotation within 1-2 business days for most requests. RFQs and complex projects may require more time.
Do you have volume discounts or price breaks?
High quantity orders generally net a lower cost-per-unit on all of our packaging orders. For greater savings for your project, you can consult one of our Product Specialists for a customized packaging strategy based on your business requirements and project goals.
What is the process of getting my packaging made?
We make packaging easy for our customers. While the steps can differ from project to project, our typical process consists of the following stages:
- Specification & Project Consultation
- Sampling and Prototyping
- Shipping and Fulfillment

What packaging and box styles do you offer?
How are packaging dimensions measured?
Generally, measuring a box for packaging is based on the inner dimensions of the structure. This guarantees your product will fit properly within the box regardless of stock thickness.
If you are looking to duplicate a box and provide outer dimensions, please inform your Product Specialist.
What is a dieline and why is it important?
A dieline is the template/outline needed for the design/artwork of the box. It is essential to the cutting and creasing process giving the appropriate information to our machines to precisely cut and fold areas where needed.
Can I order multiple artworks at the same size and specifications?
Yes - it is very common to combine multiple artworks into a single production run to save time and costs.
How do I place my artwork on the dieline you provided?
You can check out PakFactory's Step-by-Step Artwork Preparation Guide on how to place your artwork onto our dieline templates.
If you require further assistance or need your artwork designed, you can check out our Packaging Design page for more details.
What is CMYK?
CMYK stands for Cyan, Magenta Yellow and Black and is a color model. These colors are used for generating print outputs.
Before boxes are sent for printing, it is important that the artwork (on illustrator) is converted from RGB color mode to CMYK.
Not converting the color mode will result in a greater color variance between what you see on your display compared to the final product
What is the 'PMS Color' option and do I need it?
PMS refers to the Pantone Matching System, which is a standardized color matching system that ensures color accuracy to a physical color swatch. PMS colors are coded through a numbering system (also known as Pantone Colors). These colors are widely used in packaging, printing, fashion, graphics and interior design when brands require a very specific color output.
Additional fees apply when a project requires Pantone color matching.
What is an additional process?
What is the difference between digital and offset printing?
Digital printed packaging is printed using a digital printer, directly on the material, similar to the way an desktop inkjet printer would print on paper (but on a larger scale). Offset printing uses metal plates to layer color in succession, offering a superior image quality and greater cost-efficiency for larger volume production runs. You can learn more about the topic on our featured blog article.
Can I print on the inside and outside of the box?
You sure can. We are able to print on the outside (1-side) and the inside of boxes (2-side). Additional fees apply for 2-side printing.
What shipping options do you offer? Is shipping included in my quote?
We offer ground, air and sea shipments depending on the manufacturing origin and destination. With several shipping methods available shipping is generally not included in your quote unless specifically stated.
Can you ship my packaging to multiple destinations?
You bet we can! Customers often request their shipments be delivered directly to their fulfillment centers, while requesting a smaller quantity to be shipped to their location. We always customize your shipping plan based on your business needs.
Where do you ship to?
All of our products are available to ship both locally and internationally - with limited restrictions. To find out if your country is eligible, please contact one of our Product Specialists.
How will my order ship?
Most of our boxes are shipped flat, requiring minor assembly upon arrival. Special structures, typically rigid box styles, may need to be shipped as they are. All of our products are carefully packaged with care to withstand the potentially harsh elements of travel. You can expect your boxes to arrive in the same condition they left our facilities.
What is the turnaround time for my project?
Production time can range from 5 to 25 business days depending on packaging type, requirements many other factors. Greater customization with more additional processes generally yields slightly longer production times. For your best estimate in timeline, consult with your Product Specialist.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Check with your Product Specialist to learn the recommended MOQ of any of our products.
What if my products are defective or have quality issues? Can I get a refund?

In the event of defects or quality issues, we take full responsibility and proactively work with you to arrange a solution, which can result in replacement, refund or credit. Visit our Terms and Conditions page for full details.
Can I get a prototype or sample before ordering and how much does it cost?
We have four prototyping options; digital 3D mock-up, plain (un-printed) prototypes, digital-printed prototypes and production-grade prototypes. You can visit our Sample & Prototypes for more information.
