Uncoated Unbleached Kraft (UUK)

Uncoated unbleached kraft paper is a brown, lightweight, high yield paperboard material that is 100% eco-friendly. Its durability and appearance make it popular for packaging beverage containers and is great for heavy duty retail packaging that communicates your brand initiatives.

  • 100% eco-friendly
  • Light Weight
  • Durable and Tear-resistant

UUK paper is unbleached, natural kraft paper that is uncoated on both sides. Made from less virgin wood fibre than other paperboards, UUK paper is an eco-friendly packaging material that is lightweight and extremely durable for packaging food and retail products. Although not ideal for printing due to the highly textured surface, UUK paper can be treated the same as bleached paperboard in order to create a printable and wet-resistant surface by using coatings or films.
