Hello Adorn
Via Carota Craft Cocktails is the ready-to-serve bottled cocktail line from New York City’s celebrated West Village Italian restaurant Via Carota, bringing its bar program of negronis and martinis into the home. Turning a signature restaurant pour into a giftable bottle meant the packaging had to carry the same sense of occasion every time it arrived at someone's door.

For a ready-to-serve cocktail brand, the bottle is the product, but the box is the first impression. It has to protect fragile glass in transit and still feel worthy of the restaurant name once a customer lifts the lid. Via Carota Craft Cocktails came to PakFactory with a clear picture of the gift box it wanted and three things it needed the packaging to solve.
We started with the structure, because everything else depends on the five bottles arriving intact. PakFactory engineered a Magnetic Closure Rigid Box on rigid chipboard with a printed E-flute corrugated insert that grips each bottle at both the neck and the base, with a dedicated seat for the stirrer. Our team ran the insert through several physical prototype rounds to lock the cutouts and clearances before committing to a full run, so the fit was proven rather than assumed.
The finished box reads as a gift before a single cocktail is poured, the embossed pattern catching under the fingers and the gold foil warming in the light over five bottles seated snug in their insert. It protected the glass in transit and made the kind of impression that gets a box kept rather than recycled. It also did exactly what it was built to do, giving Via Carota a format it could return to, and the brand did, reordering and extending the same box into a glass-ready edition. A gift box that can grow with the product is worth far more than the sum of its finishes.
